Meet the Ambassador: Gabriella
Meet Gabriella Zampirri of Jean Madeline Aveda Institute - our newest MONEY Ambassador. The ambassador program is a community of school leaders who want to make a lasting impact on our industry. These individuals are passionate about financial literacy, believe in the power of education, and want to help shape a new generation of beauty and wellness professionals. We sat down with Gabriella to ask her a few questions about her new role as a MONEY ambassador.
Why are you passionate about financial literacy?
Financial literacy is important to me because it can take a lot of stress away from everyday life and business challenges you might have currently or in the future.
Why do you think financial literacy is important for students?
Financial literacy is important for students to learn because most want to start building business and clientele when they graduate. Being knowledgeable on knowing how to budget and use your money is very important in being successful.
Which part of the MONEY program are you most excited about?
I am most excited about showing the different grids you can create with Qnity. They helped me map out and really focus on what my money plan was. I think it can benefit the student not just with money, but everyday challenges.
Many people identify with having negative or unproductive money stories. What’s your money story?
I struggled to save money, once I created my 9 Grid with Qnity it really helped me simplify and pinpoint what I was doing wrong.
Imagine every beauty and wellness student was provided financial literacy education. How do you think this would change our industry?
I think providing financial literacy education is very important in or industry. Students will have a better idea of how to handle money after taking this course. There is so much to learn with Qnity!
